Greetings to all SFI members and especially to those who have joined SFI since our last newsletter was published.

Just a reminder to keep watching your SFI affiliate center for news of the new International Super Store. It has been in the works for many months and is now almost ready to be launched.

Recent posts at the dboard also indicate we can expect some changes to the MaxMalls and EyeEarn programs when the new store launches. Hope that these changes can benefit the average SFI member.

Keep watching for news of recent developments at the SFI forum (dboard) At the dboard you can learn a lot from the questions and comments of other members.

Do you keep trying to find programs that can help bring more traffic to your SFI gateway pages? I try to do something every week that will build new traffic. It takes time, a lot of time, but traffic does begin to build when we continue to work at it. Winners never quit and quitters never win.

Reminder to anyone who has not yet confirmed your SFI registration. In order to continue receiving important emails from SFI head office everyone needs to confirm their desire to be a SFI member.

If you have already completed this step, then *Thank You* If not, be sure to login to your affiliate members center and follow the instructions there.

SFI continues to bring improvements to the way we communicate with other members and with the SFI head office. Remember there is an internal message system to communicate with your SFI upline and downline.

And just recently SFI introduced a new HelpDesk type of system to use when contacting the support department at SFI head office.

The Newsletter is running a little late this month. Did anyone miss it? So many exciting things happening lately. Discovered LeadsLeap traffic-generating program. Was invited to become part of a Ning Community Online Social Network Group. Joined ViralPond.

Have also spent quite a lot of time updating the links in my TrackerBoard program.

These are the kinds of programs that can help bring more traffic to your SFI gateway pages. It takes time, a lot of time, but traffic does begin to build when we continue to work at it. Winners never quit and quitters never win.

Come Join the Ning Community at MyOuterSpace Network

Builder99 talks about new Ning Community.

A new Ning networking community was created in January 2008. By October of that same year the membership had reached more than 1000 members.

It was created by Crystal Pennington and called MyOuterSpace Network. Members are allowed to create their own groups within this community. You will also find Group Forums and individual blog pages.

You can promote your own Ning profile page where some of your favorite links are displayed. The RSS feed from other blogs and websites can be brought into your personal page at Ning.

Many other features are also provided. After joining, you can decide which ones are best for you. I find the Ning platform easy to work with and easy to learn. And of course other members are there to help if needed.

New HelpDesk support system at SFI

Builder99 talks about new HelpDesk system at SFI

SFI continues to bring improvements to the way we communicate with other members and with the SFI head office.

The latest feature to be added is a new HelpDesk type of communication tool. Now SFI members can request support or make program suggestions by way of the HelpDesk.

It is an internal support system where your request is sent direct to SFI. You can expect a reply within 1 to 2 business days. The delivery of regular email has become very unreliable in recent years. This new support system lets you contact the support department without having to send an email.

A growing number of website program owners now advise their members to NOT use Yahoo or Hotmail. This is simply because these webmail providers have a history of not delivering all the good email to your inbox. Of course there are many other webmail providers whose services are not reliable.

One email service that is being recommended these days is Gmail. You can sign up for Gmail after opening a member account with Google.

You can find the new SFI HelpDesk system inside your affiliate members area. Why not give this new system a try and see if you like it? If your question requires a speedy reply you can ask the support department to phone you back.

Free Online Splash Page Maker

Builder99 talks about making your own Splash Pages.

Perhaps you would like to create a few unique pages you could use in your favorite Traffic Exchanges.

New SFI Online Store Opening Soon

Builder99 talks about the long awaited new SFI Store

The SFI official forum (dboard) has posted a link to a new store update website. It contains a few screen shots of the proposed new store.

Look for the very first post in this forum thread. The post was dated September 3, 2008 and is called New Store "Update Website" Now Online.

That post has a link to the new website with screen shots and a list of planned features.

Builder99 says **Have you tried the new message system for SFI members?**
It is a new way to communicate with your downline members without using email. When members login to their SFI Affiliate members center they will be alerted that a new message is waiting. So don't forget to login on a regular basis and keep up to date on your messages.

At first the new message system had a few **bugs**. Seems to be working now. Your messages may be placed inside several different message folders depending on where the message comes from. So be sure to check each folder such as Corporate Mail or Team Mail, etc.

After reading the message you will see a **Reply** button at bottom of message area. Use the **Reply** button to send back a friendly greeting.

Let's talk about the new SFI store coming later this year. It seems like we have been waiting a long time. It will be exciting to see the different features and to learn which countries will be able to ship products locally. This new feature is expected to greatly reduce the cost of shipping worldwide.

Previously Builder99 talked about the new SFI e-store expected before the end of 2008. It will have products AND services. The discussion board (SFI members forum) posted a new thread called **New SFI Store Update** (More Features Revealed)

Here is something that was not mentioned in the email tips above. It is well worth considering however. Do not put your email address directly on your own blog or website. Do not put your email address in comments section of other peoples blogs or on forums.

Let's talk about using the SFI discussion board. Did you know that by clicking on the username of dboard members (see top left corner of each dboard post) you will see a pulldown menu? Did you know that one of those pulldown menu items could be the dboard members homepage or blog?

If YOUR homepage is not in the pulldown menu just take a few moments to do it now. This is assuming that you have already registered as a member of the dboard.

Login to the dboard. See the **QuickLinks** link near top right corner of page. Click on QuickLinks then click on **Edit Profile** Scroll down until you see a field for **Home Page Url** Enter your home page and save the changes to your profile.

Now find a dboard post of yours and check to see if your homepage is in the pulldown menu. (Always test your online links to see if they are working correctly.)  If you don't have a dboard post yet, then create one and test your homepage link.

Last time Builder99 talked about the new SFI e-store expected later in the summer of 2008. It will have products AND services. Actually why don't you go right to the dboard thread and see **SFI Pipeline Sneak Peek**

Recently found a WorldStart website which has links to a variety of topics. Last issue we mentioned that one topic found there was **safe browsing**

This time we remind you about the newest version of AVG (version 8) This new version is probably too large to download IF you are using a slow telephone dial-up internet connection. (Unless you have lots of patience)

This free edition includes (in one program) anti-virus, anti-sypware, link scanner and a resident shield. I believe the download file size is about 46MB. If you decide to use this free program remember to download the virus definition updates on a regular basis. You can choose automatic schedule for daily scans of your computer or do daily manual scans.
