Hey everyone,

I've just been going over things in my mail today, and the huge numbers of marketing messages, trying to sell this internet business or that internet business, how I can make $25,000 in just 4 days EASY, and how "if I join now" I'm going to reach instant success.

It gets to be quite frustrating to always see the same messages over and over, and it's sad too. All the hopes of people put into a business they think is their own, but really isn't.

Is your affiliate link your BUSINESS? or is it someone else's?

Do you really think I believe your BRAND NEW business (that's only been out for three months) is going to bring me massive success and traffic by taking me to the TOP of Google for FREE??

99% of ALL the mail I get these days is either from newbies trying desperately to get a signup or a sale, or from those ever present GURU's bombing my attention with this secret and that secret. Some days' I even have trouble deciding WHO'S lost touch with reality more?? The Newbie or the Guru?

To me they are starting to look equally desperate.

And then I realized it. As I was delete delete delete, scan delete... nobody's message is getting through! I read PERHAPS 1 out of 50 emails if that! and only because it was from my Mom, or from someone I trust in the marketing world.

New people in Adland send me messages constantly about their GREAT products or NEW matrix, and have never bothered to learn about me, what I want, and don't have a clue that I've seen that NEW matrix only about a HUNDRED AND FIFTY THOUSAND times!!

There isn't much I haven't seen!

The newest thing theses days is training. WHY? because hundreds of thousands of internet marketers scrabling around trying to make a dollar have decided that they just don't know enough..and the NEXT magic pill is this GURU's mentoring program for ONLY $1500! OO OO I gotta buy it because this GURU claims he's made MILLIONS off this ONE secret.

There's very little out there that's a secret anymore folks. The truth is you are going to have to WORK to make money online. You are going to have to LEARN and APPLY what you've learned. And you have to dump all those MAGIC pills into the toilet and flush them because they will never bring you wealth.

Learning to build your OWN business is the only chance for you to make REAL money online, and Blogging is likely the best way to start.

Sam Clark's 16 Steps to Success heavily promotes using the WordPress platform to blog, and has been probably the BEST free marketing training I've ever seen for it's honesty and plain great content. Too bad that there are only about 300-400 people attending the classes because what people can learn there could really make a difference in their marketing careers!
