what is up with the American election
Today while I sat watching the evening news I watched the media display it's feeble attempt at the presidential race here in the USA. How sad I thought as I watched the ads run across the screen. John Mc Cain a liberal Republican slug worn out and used up tactics at our Muslim candidate Barka Obama. Each used the dirty tactics of using the others word against the him.

I hope the Americans are not stupid enough to buy what either one is selling. Both of them are using old worn out t shirts hoping by doing the same thing every other candidate has used for the past 20 years the voters  will not see through the dog and pony show the campaign managers are using. Einstein said, "insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result."

It reminded  me of the bate and switch tactics that sales men use to get a customer in and make a sale.My question is are they selling something or are they selling us out ? I believe it is the latter.

Neither of these two men bring anything to the table that would be good for America. One is a liberal republican that is an oxymoron in itself  and the other the most liberal democrat in office.

Neither have any regard for human life and neither can solve our foreign or domestic problems.
One thinks he can talk his way to peace and the other feels everything can be solved with the proper amount of c 4.

While listening to talk radio I hear many of the host  saying we need a third party candidate  but  none  seem to be endorsing one. I have to stop and ask myself . Do these people not read are they sleeping or do they just really not know there is a viable candidate and his name is Alan Keyes.

Alan knows about foreign and domestic problems and he knows how to fix them . He full will understands the war or terrorism and cares deeply about human life.  He has great ideas about how to solve the energy crisis we are facing.  He has more to offer than either of the dog and pony Hollywood stardom race the other guys are running and yet he is kept in the back ground and it seems no one knows this man is running for president .

The only thing Alan has against him is he is a man of integrity has morals and  values and is a  true patriot .

If you have never heard of him I suggest you go visit the American Independent Party web site and learn about this man before it is too late. Don't vote for just any candidate go see what a real candidate  is before you make your decision. The lessor of two evils is still evil is it not ?

Alan needs to know more than foreigh policy.  We have too many domestic problems.

If these two candidates seem unworthy for the office they are seeking, then Americans always have a choice of writing in their own selection or voting for a third party candidate. Unfortunately, no third party candidate has run a successful campaign or been a serious White House contender in more than 100 years.

The fact of the matter is this, whether you consider either McCain or Obama presidential timber, they are the only viable choices available, and neither will do much to impact our world once either is elected.

Our current president, twice elected by razor thin margins that were enabled by political shenanigans in Florida in 2000 and Ohio in 2004, has been a dreadful leader. He has advanced the cause of his crowd at the expense of the majority of this country.

He has prompted many of us to simply disregard politics altogether as a game of the moneyed and influential.

Still, in spite of this, my son is a political science junkie working as a volunteer for a Republican gubenatorial candidate, spending his days doing the behind the scenes busywork that candidates need to get elected. The funny thing is, if you were to ask him, he would likely tell you he is a liberal Democrat, not a Republican.

Yet, here he is working on behalf of the GOP. What does that say about politics and political life in America? I don't know, but politicians are still people and we can identify with them on a personal level, which could explain how George W. twice became the most powerful leader in the free world.

You are right no write in candidate has made it to the president's seat here in the US. How could they? We have become a two party system and no one  ever challenges that they just blindly follow the status Que. Some states do not even allow a write in candidate, how constitutional is that ? Some states were shut down from even petitioning for a write in candidate another unconstitutional act.
We as Americans have allowed the government to rule instead of the people ruling the government. I believe the opening lines of the Constitution says, "WE THE PEOPLE" not "WE THE Government."
