Can't Find the Perfect Business..That Motivates You?
I can show you the best company, the best compensation plan, the best product, the best marketing system, the best social marketing sites...but will that drive YOU to succeed?
I just sometimes can't understand it. Maybe i'm just wired differently.
I've been told that i'm "odd."
I've been trying to figure out if that's a good thing or bad thing.
A post on another forum prompted this...
Here is goes...
If you're in company "A", and you just can't seem to get yourself going; you can't get motivated enough to have any measurable success, is it that:
A. You haven't found the right business that makes you passionate
B. There's something internally mis-aligned with you
C. You're not cut-out for a business
My instinct, and what I've studied about human behavior is that it's most likely "B"...not that "A" couldn't play a part.
I think a lot of people waste a lot of time searching for something externally to make them passionate...a la the perfect company, the perfect product, etc...
I say use logic and business sense to pick a business that you believe in.
Be driven and passionate about changing your life and your family's life.
For example: provide more vacations, a better home, get rid of that second mortgage, take care of sick relatives etc...
Whatever it is for you.
Also, what about a sense of accomplishment? Would that motivate you?
If you can't find your passion and drive into doing all those things, how in the heck are you expecting to find passion anywhere else?
So, if those things don't drive you, would you say that you need to look further into yourself as to why?
Fear of failure. Fear of success. You don't think you're good enough. And so forth.
Or would you look into another company that will hopefully make you passionate enough to make you want to work your business?
I guess you know by now how I feel.
What are your thoughts?
