I was on an popular website that allows you to buld web pages around specific topics of interest, when lo and behold I see the well-known name of a marketing system.

I look carefully at the webpage, and noticed that it's a site bashing a particular marketing system.

The guy that put up this ill-informed webpage is no marketer and definitely not a business guy by any stretch of the imagination.

What's his beef?

He's miffed that there are so many people from this particular marketing system putting up web pages promoting this marketing system; or as he puts it, they just create spam pages.

He goes on to say that all this marketing system does is teach people to make these spam sites and get rich off other people.

He's not an Internet marketer and doesn't know didley squat about the marketing system in question and really doesn't get it.

And yet he says: "No. You don't need to actually bite into a sh*t sandwich to make a pretty good guess at its contents."

I guess he likes to flaunt his ignorance out in public.

My response to him was pretty much a simple one. XYZ doesn’t teach people to go out and make spam sites. It teaches them where to put their content, but not what to write.

But he does have some valid points.

Some people write an ad, when they should be writing an article that informs and educates

When you create content, web pages, or submit stories, especially on social sites, you want to make sure your content doesn’t come off as an ad.

If you were on our Facebook for Morons webinar, then you remember those examples we presented.

For the large part, most social networking sites, except the ones that are geared toward markers, hate self-promoting marketers.

This guy took it to the extreme to make an entire web page on how much he hates xyz marketing system members that put up "spammy sites."

He even mentioned he hated marketers for ruining Craigslist!

But there is one thing for certain...

A lot of people join marketing systems hoping for a "quick fix."

Most of these people won’t go on to have any great success with marketing systems because they lack the one ingredient that ties it all together. And most systems don't teach what it is you need.

Attraction marketing is all about getting prospects to come to you.

If it was as simple as putting up content sites, videos, and posting links everywhere, then there would be millionaires overnight in this industry.

Of course there’s more to it than that.
