As I have said I live on a farm and I have a garden. It has rained a fair
amount and it is finally drying up enough that I don't have to worry about
packing the earth when I walk on it. Well I figured I had better go check
out my garden since I hadn't really looked it over for a few days.  I have been
picking and covering my tomatoes because of frost warnings.

Anyway I got waylayed by stuffing from a comforter that my still alive dog
scattered all over my yard.  It was from an old comforter I was using to
cover my tomatoes. So consequentially I had to pick up all the stuffing
which was on my lawn. Well as I was doing this, I noticed all the acorns
on the ground. There were a lot, so of course I decided I should pick them
up.

So the reason for this entry is; can anyone tell me how I can make these
acorns edible. I believe I baked them in the oven last year but to me they
didn't taste all that great. So anyone who has a good tasting recipe I would
very much appreciate your input.
Thank you,
Patricia
